Every dish in our Macular Meals range is designed to provide a healthy balance of important nutrients, essential for supporting the health needs of someone with age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
You will see from the images of our products that some are presented in wooden trays and others in the more familiar black trays. The wooden dishes are French bakers' trays and are made of poplar and can go straight into the oven as indicated on the cooking instructions. Meals in these trays all have a top that needs a bit of crusting - potato or pasta. Meals in the black trays tend to be casserole dishes or soups. All of our meals are best cooked in a conventional oven though they can be microwaved. They can all be cooked from frozen.
For every meal sold in their Macular Range Lodge Farm Kitchen will make a donation of 40p to the Macular Society.
